Second Look Photography  was established in 2005 and  since then has been working mainly with schools nurseries and playgroups in the Coalville Loughborough Nuneaton areas among others.  Photographing families and weddings has also been a part of our work.  When working in playgroups we were constantly asked where we were based as mums wanted to book family photo sessions, or bring brothers and sisters down together so in 2013 we opened a studio.  We are based in Ibstock at the Ibstock Business Centre on the High St. It is a lovely friendly place with a tea-room on site, handy if you fancy tea and cake after your session.

Having gained a wealth of experience working with children of all ages we specialise in children and family photo shoots.   We always allow plenty of time when any children are involved so if your shoot is booked for an hour, we wouldn’t book the next client in immediately after.  Just in case your children are shy and it takes them a while to get their confidence, we like to give you that extra time.  We find that parents are much more relaxed and so are the little ones when there is no clock watching.  Children with special needs are also welcome, we have worked with children who are visual or hearing impaired, autistic, or have other  varying disabilities.

We  love all things photography and enjoy taking pics of singles and couples too, along with pets and some commercial/product  photography.

We recently needed to create our own passport photos to enable us to go to a weeks photo training in Tenerife.  They were accepted with no problems so we started providing passport photos as part of our services. If you plan to go abroad soon and need a passport don’t leave it to chance- we GUARANTEE that your passport will go through and is very price competitive at £5.50.  Photo booths and photo printing shops may seem more convenient at the time but they do not always pass the test as we hear from clients who have tried this route first.
